Roundabout Books is committed to working with educators all over our community. Below are a couple of the educator programs we are offering as part of our store opening, but we want to work with you to come up with new and creative programs that benefit both educators and students.  If you have ideas or events you would like to schedule, please CONTACT US

Wish Lists

Who says you can't get what you want?  You tell us, we keep the list.  Simple!  Just tell your school and community we have your wish list and we'll help them find what you need for the classroom and library.

Educators always receive a 10% discount on all purchases of books for the classroom, professional development, and personal use!  Just show us your current Staff ID card and we'll give the discount at the register.

Field Trips - Book Store Tours

Kids love learning about how businesses work in the real world.  Bring your class to Roundabout Books and we'll give them a tour and discuss how our books make their way to the shelves.  Your class will learn about the value of independent bookstores, enjoy a private storytime, go on a scavanger hunt, and get a coupon for their next visit.

Teacher Appreciation Celebration

We would like to host an annual weekend-long celebration for teachers and educators in May, featuring 20% storewide discounts, workshops, author visits, networking opportunities, and snacks.  It should be fun and free!  If you have ideas or input for our first educator weekend, please email Cassie at

Books for Schools

Roundabout Books helps schools earn free books through community purchases.  Based on purchaes made by parents, grandparents, teachers, and community members, Roundabout Books credits participating schools with 10% of those purchases in the form of gift certificates for your school.  Sign your school up today.  There's no limit to how much your students can benefit!

In Store Book Fairs

Expand the book fair horizon:  have a book fair in the store!  Pick a day to shop and a percentage of sales will be credited back to your school.  We can showcase your school's art, music, and other groups, tie the event to an author presentation at the store, or go on a book scavenger hunt.  The possibilities are endless!  We will have more information posted soon.
