Here are some of her current favorite books:
Parking is complicated. Who knew? A fascinating book full of statistics and stories in the parking world. If you read this book, let's chat about it!
Such a quirky little book with beautiful writing ... sentences you'll want to underline!
I loved this Sci-Fi book, the first in a series! Action-packed with twists and not too much worldbuilding ... perfect combo for me!
As you all know, I love books about doctors and the medical community! This brings up so many interesting situations like how your life expectancy is impacted if you're president of the U.S. or a country or why many kiddos born in the summer are later diagnosed with the flu. Perfect for fans of Malcolm Gladwell!
It's hard for me to express why I loved this book. There's not too much action in the book, so I think I just loved the writing. It's thoughtful, and I liked the flawed characters.
Customer Shannon B. suggested I read this book. While I'm a fan of NFL, I don't know too much about basketball. Fascinating! Lebron is thoughtful, smart, generous to his friends, and a big picture thinker. A really good book!
After a short break from historical fiction, this was the perfect book for re-entry! I love the alternating chapters and learned so much. Hazel Gaynor is one of my favorite authors, so be sure to check out her other books!
Such a wonderful business book! I love the restaurant business, so I enjoyed this book, but there's so much that works for all businesses. Hiring, empowerment, and more! I work part-time at Metolius Tea, and Amy (owner) loved this book too! They incorporated dreamweaving into their business!
THANK YOU to all of the teachers! You put up with so much (admin, helicopter parents) and so much more! This was such a great read that follows three teachers through the course of one year.
Another winner from Blake Crouch! Gene-editing, suspense, post-apocalyptic ... what more can you ask for?
